The Sunflower is a plant, used for increasing hospital attractiveness.
Description[]
Appearance[]
A tall stem growing out of a square-shaped terracotta pot, and bearing five green leaves, is topped by a single large flower bordered by bright yellow petals and featuring a large array of brown seeds.
Function[]
A decorative item, the Sunflower increases hospital attractiveness in a medium radius.
Maintenance[]
The Sunflower's maintenance gauge will fall over time. When the gauge falls to 50%, the Sunflower will visibly wilt, and its attractiveness effect will almost disappear. If it is allowed to fall to 25%, the Sunflower will further wilt and the attractiveness effect will be gone. Below 10%, a negative attractiveness effect will be generated instead.
When placed in close proximity to a heat source, such as a radiator, a Sunflower's maintenance gauge will fall more quickly.
Janitors are tasked with watering Sunflowers, although also capable of doing so are other staff members with the Green Fingers trait. When the maintenance gauge reaches 50%, a janitor will be called automatically. Before this, the player may call a janitor to the Sunflower manually by pressing the appropriate button.

The Sunflower can be placed in every room except Surgery, for reasons of sterility.
