The Incinerator is an item used for reducing litter and increasing temperature. It is only available via the Close Encounters DLC.
Description[]
Appearance[]
The Bin is a deep blue, made out of either metal or plastic. It has a white ring on the top and a rubbish bag on the inside for easier disposal of the contents.
Function[]
Both Patients and Staff use the Bin to dispose of their rubbish, if bins are not available they will simply drop it on the floor. The Incinerator is the only bin into which patients cannot vomit.
In the same fashion as a radiator, the Incinerator projects heat in a radius, see below for illustration.
Maintenance[]
Each time litter is placed in an Incinerator, it will lose 10% of its maintenance gauge. When a patient vomits into it, it will lose 10%.
As with its 'cold' counterpart, the Wormhole Bin, the Incinerator cannot be maintained by a Janitor, even though there is a button for the player to summon one manually, and it will be marked as "Janitor Required!" when the maintenance gauge falls below 50%. Instead, it will regenerate its maintenance gauge rapidly over time.
