- "Do you believe you can be born in the wrong time? I've always felt that I belonged in the middle ages. I'd've been a baron, or a king, or something delightfully dogmatic like that, ruling piously over my people with jagged wit and an iron fist! Oh, how I pine for those glorious, darkened days, when men lived to the ripe age of twelve!"
- ―Sir Nigel Bickleworth
Clockwise-upon-Thyme is the first hospital in World 11 of Two Point Hospital, which requires the A Stitch In Time DLC. To unlock it, the player will need to reach Star Level in Mitton University. It is recommended, however, that the player also spend some time in Tumble, so as to unlock the Fracture Ward, as well as being sure to research the Injection Room, both of which will be required to treat all the illnesses in this hospital.
The three hospitals that comprise A Stitch in Time will all play host to a new VIP Visitor, Captain Yesterday, time-travelling inventor and entrepreneur. A new mechanic, Time Portals, will feature in all three hospitals, connecting four different time periods in Two Point County. In Clockwise-upon-Thyme, this will mean treating patients from both the Medieval and Modern eras.
Career Mode[]
Dear Hospital Administrator,
Hey, how ya doin'? What if I told you that you could travel through space and time for a highly competitive price? Now you're saying "what's the catch?", am I right, or am I right? Well, that's the best part, my friend: no catch, no consequences, no questions asked.
I'm Captain Yesterday, inventor, entrepreneur, and all-around family man, presenting to you, the Yesterizer (patent pending), your one-stop shop for all things today, tomorrow and yesterday. I'm offering you a one-time only, once-in-a-lifetime, not-even-for-my-mother 100% discount on a journey through time. You see, ever since I started rolling these things out we'd have a few... complications, shall we say. We're talking sick people flying out of holes in the ground. Far from ideal, I'm sure you'd agree. If you take care of them, and I keep selling time machines, bingo-bango we're back in business.
And hey, if all goes to plan I'll even sell you your own Yesterizer. Pretty neat, huh?
Previously yours,
Captain Yesterday
Welcome to Clockwise and the days of yore. This quaint little town has become a popular spot since the advent of domestic time travel. Who would have thought that there would be serious medical implications involved? Not me! But what're you going to do? Oh right... hospitals.
Rifts in time, we're calling them Time Portals, have started appearing all over town 'recently'. As you expand your hospital and find more Time Portals you'll notice that they get busier and busier as we further dilate local spacetime. Science, eh?
Initial Objectives[]
Find Time Portals[]
- Buy 1 Building
- Cure 3 Patients from Time Portals
Time Portals[]
Time Portals are a means by which temporally-displaced patients may appear in the three hospitals that comprise A Stitch in Time, as will all VIP visitors, none of whom are native to the time periods featured.. Each one will add 8.33% to the Spacetime Dilation gauge, which, when increased, will allow a larger number of patients into the hospital, and result in a larger roster of illnesses making an appearance.
At the outset, one natural Time Portal is present in the hospital, with one more to be found in each additional plot, for a potential total of eight, amassing 66% of Spacetime Dilation. In addition, a buildable Time Portal must be researched in Clockwise-before-Thyme, which will subsequently allow the Spacetime Dilation to be raised further in Clockwise-upon-Thyme during a return visit.
Spacetime Dilation with all eight natural Time Portals | Spacetime Dilation with four further artificial Time Portals | Spacetime Dilation with eight natural and six artificial Time Portals |

Click to see completion letter: Dear Hospital Administrator, 1 Star Hospital Congratulations. Your hospital has been awarded a 1 Star rating by the Two Point Health Ministry. That ridiculous blow-hard Admiral Yesteryear just burst into my office spouting some nonsense about you, time travel, and something about a "pasteuriser". It's not that I don't understand, so much as I don't care. Continue meddling with the fabric of time for more rewards, or return to the present day and get back to work. Click to see completion letter: Dear Hospital Administrator, 2 Star Hospital Congratulations. Your hospital has been awarded a 2 Star rating by the Two Point Health Ministry. It's funny to think that, from my perspective, all of the people you're treating are already long gone. Dust in the footnotes of time. It makes all of your hard work there seem rather futile. Is "there" the right word?... All of your work "then" is futile. Better. Continue meddling with the fabric of time for more rewards, or return to the present day and get back to work. Click to see completion letter: Dear Hospital Administrator, 3 Star Hospital Congratulations. Your hospital has been awarded a 3 Star rating by the Two Point Health Ministry. My secretary just looked it up, and you'll be please to learn that you haven't caused any dangerous and confusing changes to the history of medicine. It seems that town, and everything in it, mysteriously disappeared some 500 years ago. No buildings, no witnesses, no cardiology department. Probably for the best. Yours fragrantly, Tarquin Foxbridge |
