The Café Counter is a required item for the Café to function. Staffed by an Assistant, those who eat here will have their hunger and thirst satiated, their happiness increased, and staff will subsequently lose energy more slowly.

A wraparound section in right wood forms the front and right-hand side of the stall, the front section covered with a bare metal section along which trays can slide (a stack of them in evidence), and the side containing a white serving section featuring four containers of variously-coloured goop. The left-hand side features tall L-shaped white walls, with one shelf holding the till, a higher shelf with plates and bowls, and packets of crisps hanging from the back.
Function[]
This item is required for the Café to function; with an Assistant to serve meals to patients and members of staff at a cost of $40, each serving will reduce the recipient's hunger and thirst completely, and increase their happiness by 25%.
Although, unless interrupted, the customer will still eat at the Cafe Table & Chairs and deposit their tray in the Food Bin, they actually receive the beneficial effects of the room upon completing their transaction at the counter.
